INVERCARGILL, January 30. Annie Casey, aged seventeen years, disappeared unaccountably on SundayShe was in the domestic employ of Mrs Stewart, South Hblend. On Sunday she rode to her parents’ place at Centre Bush, eight miles distant, returning in the evening. The girl was accompanied part of tho way by a girl friend and later overtook a gig driven by Mr AV. Orowo, and accompanied him. a short! distance. She then, cantered towards Stewart’s. Next morning the Stewarts found the horse in the paddock with tho saddle and bridle hung up in the usuali place, but no trace of tho girl. Her bed had not been slept in, and her effects had not been touched. Search parties have found no trace so far. Ihe girl was in good spirits all the day.
