THE WHEAT PROBLEM.
AID FROM UNITED STATES SUGGESTED. (Received January 30, 9.40 p.m.) SYDNEY. January 30. The Wheat Conference resolved to ask the Federal Government to approach the Imperial authorities and to endeavour to get the United States to provide immediately all the shipping space possible for the dispatch of Australian wheat to the United States and Canada to enable the latter to make available an equal quantity on the Atlantic coast for the Allies.
