TRIENNIAL ELECTION, The triennial election of members of the Christclmrch Drainage Board was held yesterdayThe only sub-district for which more than one nomination was received was Woolston. where the contest was between Messrs Charhs Hill, Duncan N'Rae and John The polling booths were at the Woolston Oddfellows' Hall and in Ferry Road. Comparatively little interest was taken in the election ami only about 15 per 1 cent of those entitled to voto exercised their privilege. The polling resulted in the return of Mr Hill, the figures being as follow— Charles Hill .... 88 John Richardson . . . 46 Duncan M'Rae . . . -tl The new board is as follows— Sub-district.
