Professor Hight was a passenger from the south by the express on Saturday evening.
The passengers from tho south by the express on Saturday evening cluded Dr Anderson (Director of Education) and Air Tibbs, of the Auckland Grammar School.
Air H. AV. Bishop, S.AI., returned to Christchurch yesterday from Gisborne, where he has been conducting a commission into the affairs of the Gisborne Hospital. Alessrs J. O. Coop, J. F. Buchanan, AV. H. Alontgomerv, J. V. Chapman, J. Johnston and S. T. Harris and the chairman of tho AVairewa County Council, ex officio, are gazetted members of the Little River Domnin Board. Colonel R. J. Collins, Auditor-Gen-eral, Dr Pollen and Air G. C. Faclie, of the Alilitary Pensions Board, arrived in Christchurch on Saturday from the south, where the board has been sitting. They will remain in Christchurch till about Friday on pensions business.
