The strikes continue in many industrial centres in Bohemia. RENEWAL OF STRIKES. THE WORKERS’ DEMANDS. _ AMSTERDAM, January 25. Jt is reported that there has been a renewal of strikes in \ienna. Austrian workers demand peace an eight-hour day and the stoppage of all war industries. WORKERS’ THREAT. "Tho Times” Service * (Received January 27, 5.0 p.m.) BERNE, January 25. A hundred thousand workers struck at Prague. There is a Socialist split in Vienna owing to the moderate leaders advising the resumption of work. AMSTERDAM, January 20. Several speakers at a prolonged meeting of workers in Vienna, representing all Austria, declared that the strikes werq only a preliminary skirmish to great labour struggles. The censorship suppressed the strongest statement's.
