Dominion Meteorologist's summary and forecast: — The atmospheric pressure still is low off East Cape, and southerly gales and showery conditions have been reported in northern and eastern districts of the North Island. Elsewhere decreasing southerly winds and fair but cold weather ruled. Present indications ' are for moderate to Strong south-east winds, northwards of Cook Strait and variable breezes with easterlies predominating elsewhere. Weather fair to cloudy generally, but squally and showery •long east coast of the North Island. The barometer has a rising tendency.
