POULTRY. Messrs J.' B. Meireu and Co. report a largo entry of poultry on Saturday, over 3000 birds being ontered. Thero was a fino having ol prime young birds, which realised good prices. Table chickens 5s 6d to 10s Id, ducklings 5s 6d to 10a, goslings 9s to 13s 6d, ducks 4s to 6s, hens 3s to 5a Cd, turkeys lis to 82s all par pair, EGGS. The egg market i 3 well supplied. Canterbury Egg- Circle first sr&d es ate Is 6d, seconds Is sd: "TATTERSALL'S" HORSE BAZAAR. There was an entry of 64 horses at Tattersali's on Saturday. Thero was an exceedingly largo attendance, but tho demand, except for good, sound draughts, was on.y fair, aged and unsound stuff being hard to place. Anions tho sales were: —Account W. Hampton (Rotherham), agod gelding, £l3: G. H. Burton (Cast), sis-year-old gelding, £8 10s, W. Morley (Christchurch), iour-year-old unbroken gelding, £7: client, aged gelding. *U. W. Barnett (Snroydon), aged gelding, *lo, lorry, £3O 10b; C. M'Lonnan (West Melton), four-year-old mare, £l9; F. Robson (Avonside), rivo-year-pld gelding. £9; client, aged pelding. £l6 10b; aged hacks and harness horses so,a. at from £2 10s to £6. A motor-car, on account of E. Cholmonodeley, was sold at £IOO.

Tlio Farmers' Saleyards report a record entry of poultry for one of the Christmas snles. Hens were easy, but ducklings and geese wore in keen demand. Ducklings realised 8s and geese 10s 9d to 12s 9d. A pen of good stuff made a record price of 17s 9d. Olandge and Smith. »•
