POULTRY. Messrs J.' B. Meireu and Co. report a largo entry of poultry on Saturday, over 3000 birds being ontered. Thero was a fino having ol prime young birds, which realised good prices. Table chickens 5s 6d to 10s Id, ducklings 5s 6d to 10a, goslings 9s to 13s 6d, ducks 4s to 6s, hens 3s to 5a Cd, turkeys lis to 82s all par pair, EGGS. The egg market i 3 well supplied. Tlio Farmers' Saleyards report a record entry of poultry for one of the Christmas snles. Hens were easy, but ducklings and geese wore in keen demand. Ducklings realised 8s and geese 10s 9d to 12s 9d. A pen of good stuff made a record price of 17s 9d. Olandge and Smith. »•
