TEMUKA. There was a fair attendance of farmers at tho 'i'emuka stock sale held on Tuesday. The entry of sheep was small. The following prices were obtained:—Fat owes—4o from 26s lid to 26s 9d, 34 at 295, 95 at 30s. Thero was a good entry of cattle and prices maintained tlieir late values Fat heifers made from £lO 15s to £l6 15s, fat cows from £lO 15s to £l6, empty heifers £9 10s, empty cows £9 IDs, dairy cows from £7 5s to £ls, yearling ■ steers from £6 fis to £S os. In tho pig pons weaners brought from lGs to 40s.

Fat Cattle—l 73 were yarded, about sufficient for butchers’ requirements. Prices were much the samo as last week’s. Best heavy bullocks £2l 12s <id, prime £l9 to £22 7s lid, medium £l7 to £IS 10s, light and unfinished £l4 10s' upwards. Shoep—l4ll were penned. Competition was keon, prices advancing Is 6d. Best heitvy woolly wethers tils 6d, prime 52s Gd to 595, medium 48s 6d to 51s, light and unfinished 08s to Its, best heavy woolly ewes 675, prime 49s to 645. medium 43s Cd to 475, prime heavy shorn wethers 42s 6d to 4G«, prime 38s to 41s 9d, medium 34s to 3Gs 6d, light and unfinished 325, host shorn ewes 36s 9d, medium 32s to 3Gs Cd. light and unfinished 26s Gd to 31s, ... . ~ Lambs—74 were penned. Quality on the whole was indifferent. Prices advanced 2s. Best 35s 3d, medium 27s Gd to 31s, light ana unfinished 19s upwards.
