The Dominion Meteorologist’s summary tnd forecast is as follows: Fair to cloudy weather 1 prevailed on Saturday and Sunday except in tho extreme north and south and along tho west coast of the South Island, but cloudiness increased generally on Monday. The wind has been variable. with moderate to etrong northorlies predominating. Tho atmospheric pressure ha« remained high over the Dominion. Present indications aro for easterly to nor'horly winds, increasing strong to a gale, barometer falling everywhere for development of a westerly storm area. Expect ouU and showery weather, with rain probable gen orally.
