I Farmers are now clearing their barns after wheat sowing and a number of small lots have come on the market. No oats have been seen and it would appear that tho dis*rict has been drained of this cereal. A line of prime oatenshcaf chaff changed hands at a country station at £5 net, sacks extra. But little chaff is offering. I Potatoes continue to move off e*eadily. but ' not in lines of any bulk. Table Un-to-Dates have been dealt in at from £3 10s to £3 15s, on trucks, according to quality and railage distance. I PROPERTY SALES. Messrs Craddock, McCrostio Co., Limited sold at their land sale rooms on Saturday, on , account of the trustees of the estate' of the late James M'Garva, a four-roomed cottage on Moorhovse Avenue, to Mr Sleeman. at £395. Messrs P. S. Nicholls and Co. had a fair attendance at their property auction sale on Saturday. A four-roomed eottaee in Fowke Street, Richmond, offered in the estate of the late W. H. Whale, was sold to Mr Thos. Kelly at £l2O. A four-roomed house on a quarter-acre section, 213, Salisbury Street, vras sold to Mr W. G. Harris at £2OO. HORSE SALE. There was an entry of thirty-nine horses at Tattersall's on Saturday.
