FIGHT WITH A U-BOAT.

The Admiralty reports:— A naval auxiliary vessel was struck by a torpedo, the engine-room and several compartments being flooded. A periscope and conning-tower appeared, and the "crew of the auxiliary vessel fired, hitting tho periscope.
