Nearly twelve months ago Mr- HunF? W. Nixon, of the "Star," enlisted, going into camp early in August. Soon after reaching Trentham he received ai corporal's stripes, was afterwards made sergeant-major, and later studied for a commission, and some months ago passed his lieutenant's examination, with hone-Mrs. He left tho" Dominion some time ago for France.
