RIFLE SHOOTING.

CHRISTCHURCH CLUB. The last of the Christchurcli Defence. Rifle Club's short range series of competitions was held at Cash-mere on Saturday, when seven shota were fired at 200, 300 and 600yds. A light easterly wind was Mowing, but scoring was not high. N. Woods and S. F. Nelson each totalled up 97 for the day, the former winning: with 32 at 600yds.

RANGIORA CLUB. The Rangiora Defence Club's sixth competition of the season's prcgrammo was fired on the Rangiora range on Thursday and Saturday. The distances were 300 yards, 500 yards and 600 yards, and the best score off the life was made by Rifleman "\y. Holton, who put on 94. The scores were as follow:
