CHRISTCHURCH, -November 21. GRAIN AND PRODUCE. The wheat market continues tirm at recent quotation!*. Offerings are small, and not very much business is being- done. .Ifarmers are holding tor still bigger prices, and in some oases are holding two years' wheat. Milling wheat nnd chick wheat ore both in. good demand. Tno potato market shows the effect of the incoming crop, and old potatoes are not in keen demand «t any price. Up to i'H 15s a ton was paid during tire week, but the buyer says ho can obtain requirements .at lower figures to-day. It is difficult to giro a firm quotation in the absence of business, but nominally Tuesday's quotations stand. Dairy and farm produce are'in fair supply. The buying prices of egg-s have advanced a penny it dozen. The following quotations are for purchases from farmers, net cash, sacks extra, delivery at country stations, the figures for the corresponding date ol 1015 being also given for purposes of comparison:—•
