Tho Bank of England yesterday received the following l cablegram from its London office:—Current prices:—CroBS-breds, coarse I7d to 17id. medium 18d to ISJd, fine 20d to 20Jd; merincos, inferior ]6d to 17d, superior 24d: half-bred 21-Jd to 22-jd. Messrs Dalgoty and Co., Limited, huve received the following cablegram from their head office, dated London, Sep.embor 22: " Wool sales closed fair. As compared with last sale's c!o?ir.g rates, merinoes, scorned, super and good, aro par to 3 per cent lower; short faulty, 5 per cent to 10 per cent lower; merinoes, greasy, suuer and good, 5 per cent higher; short, faulty, 5 per cent lower. Lainlw', free, 5 per cent higher; faulty, o per cent lower. Cross-bred, greasy, fine, 5 per cont; medium and coarse, 5' per cent to 7J per cent higher; cross-bred, scoured. 5 pelcent lower; lambs', free, 5 per cent higher; faulty, 7J per cent lower; and slipes, par to 5 per cent higher. Of. the quantity available, the Home trade took 87,000 bales and tho Continent 6300 biles, leaving to be carried forward 10,600 bales, of which 5000 wore not offered. ■*
