ST ALBANS CLUB. A well attended meeting of the committee of the St Albans District Cricket Club was held in Mr i\ C. Raphael's rooms last evening, tho president (Mr i\ C. Raphaoi) being in the chair. I was decided that the club should deicr tho opening oi the season from bepUuubor 30 to October 7 cut oi respect to the memory of thoir late comrade, Lieutenant E. G. Hickniofct, and that ell members of tho club should be requested to wear mourning armlets for tho first four Saturdays of tho It was decided that members of tho committee should provido afternoon tea in rotation, tho nroccods to be donated to the. Red Cross-Fund. Tho question of entering teams in the association's competitions waa left to tho Selection Committee.
