SALE OF CERTIFICATES. THE MILLION MARK NEARLY ATTAINED. [Per Press Association.] WELLINGTON, September 26. Tho latest telegraphed figures show that the sale of war certificates continues to be steady. The total up to ■September 23 amounts to £924,92S 16s, and the million sterling, which it was hoped would be raised under this scheme, will probably be exceeded bofore tho dose of tho year. Tho following is a summary of the sales of war loan certificates from August 11 to Septembor £3 (shillings omitted): —
