LONDON, September 14.—German counter-attacks :on the British front were repulsed. The French carried their line to Bouclianvesnes and to south of Rancourt. They also reached Feuillaucourt. THE VERDUN REGION. PARTS, September 14.—German attacks on the Verdun front failed. THE EASTERN THEATRE. PETROGRAD, September 14.—The Russians report further successes on the Carpathian front.
