FIRES.
* At 8.3 a.m. yesterday the Fire Brigade received a call to a four-roomed cottago'in HaaeJdean Road, occupied by Mr Charles Quirk. A wuehhouse was badly damaged by fire. There was no insurance on the contents. At \O~- >m. yesterday the Fire Brig-do was" summctoed to 313. Herelord Street, a six-voomtd cottage owned by Mr Charles Welch and occupied by, Mr Thomas Davie. Trifling damage was done to a porch. Tho building was insured for £2O in the Alliance Office, and > the contents for £75 in the State Office.
