Troops mutinied in Salonika but French troops intervened and took the Royalist troops prisoner. The j revolution is spreading. Twenty-three Allied warships are now at Piraeus' dominating Athens. RUMANIA'S WAR. BUCHAREST, September 3.—The Rumanian advance continues. The enemy admits the evacuation of Hermannstadt and other points. Bulgaria has declared war on Rumania, who has taken Rustchuk. The Russian troops continue to pour into Rumania. General Dmitrieff commands the Russians against the Bulgarians. MACEDONIAN CAMPAIGN. SALONIKA, September 3.—The Bulgarians are hurriedly retreating on Monastir and Fiorina, the Serbs pressing them. The Italians captured villages in Albania, where the insurgents also have been active. * BATTLE OF THE SOMME. LONDON, September 3.—The British regained a portion of the trenches taken by the Germans in Delville Wood. South of Estrees the Germans re-took parts of trenches which the French had captured. THE RUSSIAN OFFENSIVE, PETROGRAD, September 3.—Heavy fighting on the Stokhod and south-west of Lutsk saw the Germans repulsed. .At Zborov the Russians, made progress. Tliey also advanced towards Halicz and captured heights in- the Carpathians. AIR RAID ON BRITAIN.
