UPPER RICCARTOX., The monthly meeting of tho Upper Riccarton branch of the Red Cross society was held on Tuesday, when Airs Morton presided over a good attendance of members. The moomo for the month was stated to have been £32 10s. Accounts amounting to io‘2 9s W were, passed for payment. Last week the following garrnenis wero packed and lorwarded to the depot:—Twenty-four flannel vests, o; dayshirts, *23 pairs socks, 6 pairs slippers, 2d suits pyjamas, 2 surgical nightshirts, 18 Tji’lovr-cnses, 3 operation coats, 19 underpants, a body bolts. 9* bed jackets, 6 treasure bags, G slings. 76 handkerchiefs, sfl face cloths, 4o operation ' cloths, 132 medicine ooths, 30 swabs, o jug covers.. 12 medicine covers, 3 dusters, 23 washers.
