AN INTERESTING LETTER. [From Our Correspondent.] DUNEDIN, August 18. j In the course of an interesting let-; tor to the Minister of Defence, Lieutenant \V. Downie Stewart, M.P. for Dunedin West, refers to his experiences somewhere in France. “ I am away from the trenches for ; six days,” ho writes, “at a sniping school behind the lines.
