Recent remarks by the Bishop of London suggesting that women should conditionally be permitted to deliver addresses in churches during the coming mission, have aroused an active controversy.

Tho Bishop explains that he never intended t° permit women preachers, and asks the clergy to suspend their opinions till he confers with thorn.
