THE CHEESE OUTPUT.
[From Oun Correspondent.] WELLINGTON, August 17. Five delegates representing a largo deputation of cheese ..producers which recently interviewed the Prime Minister on tho question of tho Imperial Government’s requirements concerning the new season’s output, will confer with Air Massey on Friday when the British terms will be submitted. It is understood that tho price offered shows an increase on last year’s, and as the whole output is not required opportunities for marketing the portion not commandeered will ensure a good average, even though the producers would liave liked a higher price from the Government than they are likely to be offered.
