Washington estimates put the winter crop at 469,000,1100 bushels and the spring crop at 210,000,000. MISCELLANEOUS. Jute.—August shipments £B3. Hemp is dull. Good fair August-October shipmens are quoted at £IS 10s. Copra.—May-June shipments £3l 10s (noraiCotlon.— June-July shipments 8.093 d. Rubber.—Para, 2s Sid, Plantation 2s Ggci, smolted 2s 5Jd. . Rabbits are firm and unchanged. FROZEN MEAT. Frozen meat is in small supply Australian mutton is quoted at SJd. South American lamb 12Jd, but others are unchanged. LONDON TALLOW SALES. LONDON WOOL SALES. The following cable meuago has been received by Messrs Dalgety and Company, Lin. Tod, Christchnrch, from their London Office, dated June 8:-" The wool Bales closed very firm. A» compared with closing rates of last sale scoured merinoes, super are 10 per cent, and inferior 10 to 15 per cent dearer, «u) merinoes, super 10 per cent, gocd 10 Ko 15 per cent, and faulty 5 to 71 per cent dearer. Creasy cross-bred,, fine 1h per cent good and medium par to 5 per cent dearer. Scoured cross-breds, fine 5 to 71 per cent, coarse 5 per cent, slipes 5 per cent, and all lambs 5 per cent dearer.
