CHRISTCHURCH. Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M., presided at the Magistrate's Court on Saturday. Albert Waterman, claim £l3 2s, debtor ordered to pay 2s a week, in default twelvo days' imprisonment; Henry Leigh (Mr Williams) v. John Crowe, claim £1 15s sd, order made for Is a week, in default twenty-four hours' imprisonment; W. J. Coles and Co. (Mr Rowe) v. Stanley Henderson, claim £l3 Ss 6d, order made for 5s a week, in default fourteen days' imprisonment; L. G. Stephens (Mr Johnston) v. Stanley Rudd, claim £29 17s; order made for payment forthwith, in default one month's imprisonment. Judgments by default with costs were airon as fellows :—G. W. Woods and Co. v. William Mureh, £5 7s; Edward Georgo Keats v. Bert Painter. £3 8s 3d.

LYTTELTON. Captain R. Hatchwell, J.P., and Mr W. C. Cleary, J.P., presided at the Magistrate's Court at Lyttelton on Saturday. John Symington, on a. charge of drunkenness, ivaa fined 53, and for having behaved in a violent and disorderly manner in a railway carriage was fined £2 and costs.
