UNITY CAMPAIGN.
[Per Pnfcss Association-.] PALAIERSTON NORTH. Dec. 12. An enthusiastic open-air meeting was held on Saturday night in the Square when Air Robinson delivered a strong address on the unity platform. The Salvation Army B.uid assisted and Mr Guy, solicitor, was chairman. Several influential citizens were on the platform. The speakers were Atessrs P. A. Af'Hardy and W. Thomson, of the Patriotic Committee, and Air T. C. Price, a member of the Furniture Union. Air Al'Hardy moved:—"That New Zealand set an example of unity to the Empire by organising to the full capital and man power for the war and requests that Parliament be convened for that purpose and undertakes absolutely to support the National Government in whatever steps it decides to take towards victory."' Air Price seconded the motion which was carried unanimously.
