Horrell was re-elected chairman tho ensuing year. ■' \;-tfi The resolution making a by-law entitled "The Rangiora. County grass seed by-law" ■was confirmed!. The by-law prohibits the cutting of grass for seed in all roads within £ the county without the. authority of the council. The clerk reported that Mr C. jSankerviile had promised to cut and burn the gorse f reserve ©29 as fooh as possible. The Commissioner of. Crown Lands wrote that the question of disposing of reserves' 18SS. 630, ISUO and 1078, in the Cust Riding, • v would be considered at the next meeting of • the-Landi Board. It was re6olved that the < :;> clerk* should interview the Commissioner, in reference to the sale. ' , ■ •'*.
