Buildings, on SATURDAY EVENING, at 8 p.m., on “ N.Z. Ingenuity Applied to Suffering Soldiers.” His Worship the Mayor, appreciating the mechanical genius of Mr Thompson’s inventions, and in view of the hutnano object, i.c., the relief of pain to wounded soldiers, has kindly consented to preside. A number of returned wounded soldiers will demonstrate the effectiveness of Mr Thompson's ingenious shock absorbing slings, leg-rests, and also his latest inventions, the spring supported stretcher and crutch.
