At the opening wool sales 3200 bales were catalogued. • There was excited competition, cross-breds advancing 15 to 20 per sent compared with lato Tates. Good mennoes wero in demand at 6 per cent, and ncdium at 10 per cent advance. Faulty torts were neglected.
