CHRISTCHURCH LADIES' At the' annual meeting of the Christchuroh Ladies' Amateur bwuuuung and Jjile-saving Ciub, ALrs E. G. Johnson, club captain, occupied the chair, and there was a good attendance of members. The report spoke of the work during the past season, which was very sucetssiul lrorn eveiy po.nt of view. 'lhe balance-sheet showed a credit balance of £ll 0s Bd, and assets to tho value of £3O, with liabilities nil. 'ihe report and balance-sheet were adopted.

Tlie secre'tajry reported that Mrs G. Gou.cl was presenting a cup for a kfe-Baving championship. A good programme of evonts was discussed, 1 and adopted, icr the season. LYTTELTON LADIES' CLUB. The ninth annual meeting of the .Lyttolton Ladies' Swimming Club was held in the Lvttelton Borough Council Chambers last m<?ht.
