A RUGBY MATCH.

TO THE EDITOR.

Sir, —T would like the Rugby Union at its next meeting to give the Lyttelton Club a fair Hearing, which it lm> not received for many years, < and award it the match against Marist. I saw the game, and more than half th > Lyttelton team had stopped playing when tho line umpire called out that the ball was thrown out in the wrong place—just on call of time. I think f I am not mistaken Marist Seniors won from University when they protested over the same thing.—l am, etc. FAIR PLAY.
