PARISH MEETINGS.
ST PETER’S, UPPER RIOOARTON. The annual meeting of parishioner* in connection with St Peter’s Church, Upper Riccarton, was held on Monday evening, when there was only a small attendance. The balance-sheet showed the receipts to have been £409 Is lOd, the principal items being:—General offertories £152 11s 2d, special offertories £56 4s oq‘. subscriptions £lB6 os 6d. Tho expenses totalled £409 1« Tod, leaving a credit balance of £3 2s 4d. The other accounts showed credit balances as follows: —Cemetery £169 4 a 9d, general works £9 17s 3d. church completion £79 8s 7d, choir £7 6s lOd, church fabric £lO 12s Bd, Sunday school £7 14s Sd The balance-sheet was adopted. Mr J. H. C. Bond was appointed vicar’s warden, and Mr A. Freeman was elected nooole’a warden. The following were elected vestrymen:— Messrs R. Brake, T. Tefichemaker. J. Hanson, J. Gordon, T. Kincaid and P. Anderson. A r otes of thanks were passed to the retiring church officers and Sunday school teachers. A resolution was adopted recommending tho re-instato-xnent of tho “Parish Magazine.”
