The Election Court to-day formally deolared Robert MNab elected as member for Hawke'B Bay, as tho petitioner did not desire to proceed further with the petition, and there wen? no charges of corrupt or illegal practices. Counsel's fee would bo £Si 10s and other costs as in the Wellington city election oase. The Court allowed seven extra days and extra counsel for eight days according to scale,. also witnesses* expenses and disbursements.
