LINWOOD CLUB. The twenty-eighth annual meeting of the Linwood Football Club was held in tho club rooms last night, the president, Mr *. D. Kesteven, being in tho chair. Evans; honorary secretary, Mr G. S. Mathews; assistant honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr rl. Wilson; committeo, Messrs A. Barrett, W. Yates, E. M'Donald, K. Thompson and L. Champ; delegates to Canterbury Hugby Union, Messrs C. Evans, A. Barrett, H. Wilson and G. S. Mathews; delegate to Sports' Protection Association, Mr A. J. Allard; honorary auditor. Mr A. .T. AUard; delegate to Training Hall Committee, .Mr A Barrett; senior selector, Mr K. M'lntoeh; coach, Mr E. Husband; junior selector, Mr H. Hutchin■on: President, selector, Mr E. Wilson. Mr A. J. Allard was elected a life member. It was moved as a recommendation to the incoming committee that the club rooms should be re-let during the summer months. It was decided to open tho soaaon on March 27, at Linwood Park.

MEBXVALE CLUB. The thirty-third anmiß.l meeting of tho Merivale Foc/jall Club w«3 held in the club rooms last Mr W- B. F-uller presiding over a. largo attendance. The annual report and balance-sheet referred to tihe club's finances, and urged that less expensive rooms should be obtained, condit.ons having altered considerably since the agreement wae entered into. There had been a decided falling off_ in the club's revenue. Special contributions and collections had not been sufficient to oover the expenditure. There was a. balance in band of 2s Bd, but the treasurer had loaned £26. The report and balance-sheet was adopted. The following officers were elected:—President, Mr A E. G. Fuller: honorary secretary and treasurer, Mr A. Duggan; committee. Messrs F. Baillle, C. Chisnall, E. Haseil, W. Maxwell, F. Rogers and C. R. Smith; delegate* to the Canterbury Rugby Football Union, Messrs W. Euggw, C. Hasell, W. Maxwell and E- W. Ha*«ol; honorary auditors. Messrs T. F. Chambers and P..
