The charge against Eath was reduced to one of manslaughter, and lie was sentenced to two years’ imprisonment without bard labour, the Judge remarking that he suffered from hereditary mental weakness through liquor, and a term of imprisonment would enable him to be treated.
(A ifiessage on February 9 said:— Job n Eath, a farmer at Kojonup, Western Australia, surendered to the polico and confessed to killing his wife after n .domestic quarrel.)
