A stop work meeting of South Coast miners passed a resolution deprecating putting the wheelers in gaol for absenting themselves from work for a day, emphatically disapproving of Judge Heydon’s attitude towards the suspension. of the beneficial clauses of the Arbbitration Act and demanding that the Government should amend the law to prevent the recurrence of tho penalising and punishing of union members.
