MAYORAL ELECTIONS.

A meeting of the supporters of Mr H. B. Sorensen, candidate for tho Christchurch Mayoralty, was held last evening in tho Rolleston Street Hall. It was decided that those present should form themselves into a committee to work iu the interests of the candidate, and Mr O. W. Aitken was elected chairman and Mr Homersham secretary. Tho supporters of Mr \V. H. Wrnsor, a candidate for the Spreydon municipality, will meet in the Methodist Schoolroom, Solwyn Slreet. to-morrow, at 8 p-m. T
