High School were all out for 199 on the first day, and yesterday, on a soft wicket, they got Palmerston all out for 40 inside an hour, Nixon getting five wickets for 15 runs. The fielding was good all round, and three men were run out. Milliken was in good form behind the wickets, and caught two and stumped two. ‘ In the follow-on the visitors did a little better. Laurensou was the best batsman. He was caught at silly point by Taylor, who stopped a fast ball with his right hand, and finished tho catch with his left-.
