MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

CHRISTOHUECH

Mr H. W. Bishop, S.M.. presided at the Magistrate's Court yesterday, and fined John Ardagh 20s for disorderly behaviour whilo drunk.

Mrs Mary Mora, for whom Mr Loughnan appeared, claimed £59 7s 6d from her son-in-law, Edward G. M'Ciillough, the sum being made up of rent alleged to be due. It was, proved that the rent had been paid, excepting 30s, and for this amount the Magistrate gave judgment with costs. The defendant thereupon agreed to withdraw a counter-claim for £92 for board.
