Sir, —I am sending you an. envelope, which you will not© by the postmark was posted in Christchurch on August v 3, and which has just been delivered to me to-day, September 19 —nearly seven weeks coming about 400 miles. Of course, I know that the war has broken'out in tho interval, but if this is the host that the much-boomed Reformers are capable of in the postal business, I only hope that I won't live to seo their worst.—l am, etc., J.
