The nineteen cavalry regiments now at Home, with the 60th Rifles (Ist Battalion), mako up a splendid entry for tho inter-regimental nolo tournament which is played each year oh the Hurlingham ground. In addition to the throe regiments of Household Cavalry, tho cavalry entries comprise the sth, 9th, 12th and 16th Lancers, the 3rd, 4th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 19th and 20th Hussars, tho 4th and sth Dragoon Guards, the Carabineers and ltoyal Scots Greys and tho Bays. To expedite tho playing of the tournament, tho preliminary ties aro arranged to take placo as near as possible to the stations where the regiments are quartered, but the ante-semi-final, the semi-final and final ties will bo contested at Hurlingham. Tho Army Polo Committee has agreed this year to allow regiments to play eighteen ponies in the semi-final and final matches, but tho Hurlingham Club has announced that they will only pay the expenses of fifteen ponies for all the ties. The games have to be played off beforo June 13. In the first round, the 4th Dragoon Guards, sth Lancers, Ist Life Guards, 2nd Life Guards, Royal Horso Guards, 19th Hussars, Royal Scots Greys and 15th Hussars have drawn byes.
