MR MASSEY IN CHRISTCHURCH. TO-NIGHT’S MEETING. The Hon W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, arrived in Christchurch last night by the second express, and was met by several friends, who spent some time with him at his hotel. When seen by a reporter he said that he had nothing to say in the form of an interview. * “I have said all I have to say down south,” he said, “ and if I have anything else to say I shall say it in the King’s Theatre to-morrow evening.”

The meeting this evening will begin at eight o’clock, but the doors will bo open long before that hour, and it is expected that the hall will be filled early in the evening. As announced previously, tho Reform League has issued tickets for the platform. To-morrow morning a deputation fiom the National Peace Council will wait on Mr Massey in regard to the defence scheme.
