ADMIRAL PEARY’S SUGGESTION. CAPTAIN BARTLETT TO LEAD ANTARCTIC EXPEDITION. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. NEW YORK, Juno 2. Admiral Peary suggests that Captain Robert Bartlett should be despatched on a South Pole expedition under American auspices. Ho has received information that Bartlett brought a number of the crow of the lost Karlulc safely to Wrangell Island. He made a long and trying journey to obtain relief for them, and proper recognition is to fit out rn American expedition and place him in charge.
