FEDERAL POLITICS.
THE DOUBLE DISSOLUTION QUESTION. INTENTIONS OF THE GOVERNMENT. By Tekgraph—Press Association—Copyright. MELBOURNE, June 4. In the Federal House, the Postal Voting Bill was introduced a second time.
Mr Hughes suggested that, as tho Senate had rejected the No-Preferenco to Unionists Bill, it became the duty of the Government, if it intended to seek a double dissolution upon it, to apply at once to the Governor-General. Mr Cook replied that the Government knew its duty. He would be prepared to act when tho time comes.
