DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB. [Per Press Association.] DUNEDIN, Juno 4, Tho winter meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club was concluded in very cold weather. Fortunately only a few slight showers fell during the day, but tno atto idance showed 11 big falling off as compared with tho first day. The rum of £1G,194 was put th rough tho totalisator. Koval was first to break the line, followed by Firmhold and John Barleycorn, and this was tho order along tho bnek stretch.

The Hold closed up, with the exception of Parnb o, at the five furlong post, but Rcval still hold a slight load until three furlongs from home, where he was passed by Firmbold. Troon than ran to the head of affairs, and led into tho straight but Tho Cornet took the load below the distance, and won comfortably by a short length, Wai'nki four lengths away. B nek Sea, Bugle and True Bluo led to tho first fence, where Black Sea fell and Fairy Finn fell after landing. Bugle led over tho water from Tolstoi, Fritz and Tho Brewer. The same order was preserved at. tho brush fence, where Patch fell. Ziiigabee and Tho Brewor foil at the tod wall. Bng'e led Fritz over the logs, Tolstoi lying next. Thcro was tho same order at the double in tho back stretch, Renee and Royal Medal following the leaders. Fritz fall at the post and rails, and Bugle was at that point twenty or thirty lengths in front of Tolstoi. Bugle showed tho way to Tolstoi over tho water, and Royal Moda' came next. At tho last fence Tolstoi and Royal Medal wero closing on Buglo, but the latter took the jump well in front of his opponents, and seemed to have the race at hiß meroy.
