HON R. H. RHODES IN CHRISTCHURCH. The Hon R. H. Rhodes', PostmasterGeneral, arrived in Christchurch yesterday morning. To-day he will attend the parade of Territorials at Hagley Park, when a salute will be fired. At 2 p.m. he will open the King George the Fifth Coronation Memorial Hospital on the Cash-, mere Hills. At 4 p.m. he will receive a deputation from the. Springs County Council at the offices of Mr A. E. G. Rhodes, Hereford Street. Mr Rhodes will remain in Christchurch for a few days. He has promised to turn the first sod of the branch railway at Waiau on Juno 10, and to attend the opening of a new public hall at Duvauchelle's Bay on the evening of June 12. THE PRIME MINISTER. MR MASSEY'S MEETING IN . CHRISTCHURCH, TICKETS FOR THE PLATFORM* Tho Right Hon W. F. Massey will arrive in Christchurch to-morrow evening to give a political address in this city on Friday evening. The use of the King's Theatre has been obtained for the occasion. Efforts were made to obtain a more suitable hall, but without success. The Reform League, which is making the arrangements for the meeting, has decided to issue tickets for the platform. Tho tickets will bear the following words:—"Political Address. The Right Hon W. F. Massey, Prime Minister, will give a public address in tho Kings Theatre. Christchurch, Friday, June o, at 8 p.m. Admit to platform. Seats cannot bo guaranteed after seven o'clock."
