AN ARREST IN LONDON. John Alexander M'Kinnon, whose name has been freely mentioned in the recent Customs cases as one of tho " wanted," was arrested on Monday in London, and will be brought to Now ■ Zealand on three charges, namely: That in May, 1911,' he did steal ' £42. the. property of tho New Zenland Express Company. That in No%-ember, 1911, he did steal £23, the property of the New Zealand Express Company." That in May, 1911, he did steal £32, the property of J. M. Heywood ;\:\d Co. ':' M'Kinnon, who was a clerk in Christchurch, went Home somo time ago to study medicino, and it is stated that he was within an ace of passing his final examinations. He has been "wanted" for some timo, and at one 6tage he was believed to be in Spain. Tho warrants Were sent Home some months ago. Wdrd of the arrest was received yosterdav.
