Owing to a Tecord entry this year, no sighting target is available, so each competitor will be allowed two sighting shots on his competition target.

The following have been selected to repreicnt the Temuka Citizens’ Miniature Riflo Club at tho. championship meeting to bo held at Ashburton to-morrow: —A Team—F. Smith, J. H. Pedder, W. F. Evans, G. Collins and V. Nicholas. B Team—E. Scrimshaw, T. Greelieh, G. Jackson, E. P. Pridham and G. Proudlock.

A match was fired on Thursday between teams representing A. J White’s and the Red and Gun Club, on tho latter’s range, when the home team won by 20 points. Following axe the scores:— Rod and Gun Club—Harris 70, Eiby C 9, Cotton 69, Hoadley 69, Piper G 9, Dockery €B, Hay 67, Lavery 63, Cray 66, Bonny 63; total 676.

A. J. White’s—Lichtfoot 69, Brown 68, Carter 67, Marshall 66, Davis 66, Burmeister 65, Munn 63, Skip worth 65, Withers 65, Bakes: 61; Total 656.

The Ashburton Miniature Rifle Club fired Its fifth match of the season on Friday evening, when there were eighteen competitors. The highest scorers were:—A. E. Clarke (handicap 1) 70, A. Lamb (10) 70, R. E. Fountaine (1) 69, F. Burgess (4) 63, H. Frew (12) 69, S. Moore (8) 68. Tho following is the result of the shoot off for prizes in the fourth match:—A. E. Clarke (68) 1, R. E. Fountaine (67) and T. Bryant (67) equal 2.
