WAI/THAM CLUB. The annual social and dnno® of the Waltham Amateur Swimming Club was held in the Sydenham Football Hall ja Wednesday evening, when there were 115 couples present. Complete arrange* rnonts had been made for the convenience of those present by the joint secretaries, Mrs E. Bambery and Mr J. Clements. Lho prizes won during the season were presented by Dr C. J. Bussell, patron of the club, who in reviewing the work dona congratulatcd both clubs on tho splendid propress they had made. Ho complimented ‘he Ladies Club, under Mrs Bambery. on its numerical strength and on its advancement in life-saving and swimming.
